About DPAC

A Park Advisory Council is a voluntary group of individuals who meet on a regular basis to support the effective functioning of the park.

A council works with the park supervisor and other Chicago Park District staff, advising them on the needs and concerns of the community and making recommendations and suggestions regarding its respective park.

To get involved, simply come to one of our meetings. If you can’t attend a meeting but would like to help in other ways, reach out to us at douglasparkac@gmail.com or through our Facebook page.
